A former president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Bruce Lyons is past Chair of Planning of the American Bar Association's Criminal Justice Section. His law practice is devoted to all aspects of criminal defense work, including the application of forensic science, at both the state and federal trial levels. During the past 30 years he has testified before the U.S. House of Representatives and litigated at both the State and Federal levels. He has written and lectured on all aspects of criminal law nationally. Mr. Lyons received the prestigious Robert C. Heeney Award from the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in 1997. Mr. Lyons received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Miami and he is a licensed member of several state and federal bars, including Florida, Colorado and the United States Supreme Court.
